About Londanani Care Centre

Londanani Care Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering disabled children and adults from marginalised communities through specialized care and education programs. Our day care centre is situated in Rabali village, Dzanani, South Africa.

We provide two programs:

  • Partial care facility (Aged from 5-18) 
  • Protective workshop (Aged from 19-59)

Our programs cater to individuals with various disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, severe epilepsy, speech and hearing impediments, blindness and more.

We aim to enhance the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our participants, through orientation and mobility training, special Olympic sports programs, and group therapy sessions.

Our Programs and Services

We Provide Comprehensive Care and Education

The LCC programmes are designed specifically to suit special education requirements for people with disabilities as per the curriculum of the Department of Health and Social development. The parents of learners are included in the management, monitoring, evaluation and the day to day running of the Centre through meetings, workshops and AGM.

Orientation and mobility Training

Teaches children essential mobility skills, enabling them to navigate their environment independently and confidently.

Special Olympic Sports Programme

Promotes physical fitness and self-confidence through sports activities tailored for children with disabilities.

Basic Skills: Self-Care

Physical Exercise and Feeding

Combines physical activity and nutrition to improve children’s health and physical development.

Protective Workshops

Children engage in bead making and sewing, developing motor skills and vocational abilities.

Enhances early childhood development by improving eye-hand coordination for special education readiness.
